The locomotive pictured is NSW Associated Blue Metal Quarries Ltd. No. 6, formerly known as locomotive 2567.PhotographerUnknownNotesTwo former B(205) or (Z)25 Class 2‑6‑0 'English Mogul' steam engines were acquired by NSW Associated Blue Metal Quarries Ltd. in April 1937. These locomotives, first numbered as 2554 and 2567, had originally been constructed for the Railway Department by Beyer, Peacock & Co. of Manchester in 1885. Locomotive 2554 was withdrawn from service in December 1932, followed by 2567 a few months later in March 1933. Both engines were sold as scrap to Abrahams and Wilson in January 1937 who then re-sold to NSW Associated Blue Metal Quarries in the same year. After their purchase, locomotive No. 2554 became known as No.5, and locomotive No. 2567 became known as No.6.
