DescriptionThe opening of the Regents Park Line from Lidcombe to Cabramatta on 14 October 1924 was a great occasion for the citizens of Cabramatta and surrounding districts.NotesPhoto A shows people standing on the platform at Cabramatta station. There are quite a few young girls in hats. There is a train on the line and in the background you can see the bridge over the line with people on it. Photo B and C seems to have been taken from the bridge over the line. It is looking down on the platform where you can see people standing on both sides, two trains one just coming into the station and the Cabramatta railway sign on the far left of the photograph.
On the back of all photographs is a small round stamp 'Printed by Harringtons' and handwritten in blue pen 'opening of Regents Park line, no power'.
