These included Bing Lee, Eastland (Dong Khanh) Asian Food Centre and Vinh Sanh Chinese Food Store; they were located next door to the BKK International Food Centre. It is interesting to note that in the 1980's, Asian grocery stores acted as "agent" for the Commonwealth Bank and money could be easily deposited or withdrew from the stores.
