The boy is sitting with the man who is smiling at the camera.NotesAfter the fall of South Vietnam, two soldiers were placed in the home of the Lam family by the North Vietnamese government. They were treated like family by the Lams and both soldiers became attached to the Lam children. One of the soldiers quietly suggested they get out of Vietnam when they got the chance. This is a photograph of Quy Lam at age 2 years with one of the soldiers.
