Collection SummaryFairfield City Library Service has been active in collecting Oral Histories of its residents since year 2000. There are now over 250 recordings and this number is still growing. Interviews have been conducted with community members from many different backgrounds including Assyrians, Lao, Italians, Polish, Spanish, Vietnamese, as well as interview with early pioneers and long term Fairfield families, local Elders, war veterans, police officers, mayors, councillors and members of parliament.
