In 1974 AAA established the first Assyrian School in Australia and since then this school became a permanent and indispensable part of the Assyrian Community in Sydney from the humble beginning 50 years ago, with 15 students and one teacher.The school has progressed to where it is today. From the beginning all school running expenses were met by AAA until 1981 when the Australian Federal government school commission started funding ethnic schools in Australia.
