CityLife reports on Council's work throughout the city and alerts the community to important upcoming events and services in the City of Fairfield. The first issue was published in 1997.

The newsletter was named CityLife to reflect the cultural diversity, the vibrant colourful atmosphere created during the city's many festivals that reflects Fairfield's cosmopolitan lifestyle. That's why Fairfield City have the reputation as the City of Festivals. To celebrate the rich diversity, it was decided to name this newsletter CityLife
