In 2024 the City Photographer focused on the local lion dancing groups. He started his project at Lunar New Year in February 2024 and finished at Moon festival in October 2024. DescriptionClinton Ngo Nguyen reflecting on his time as City Photographer:
"It was long. It was tough. It was work. But I kept showing up—beyond what was expected—because I wanted to see Fairfield, really see it. Over time, it grew into something quieter, more intimate. Through the lens, I saw leaders and community tethered to tradition, offering themselves to one another, to something unseen but deeply felt. Their dedication became a mirror, asking me what it means to belong—to purpose, to people, to the fragile, shimmering thread that connects us all."
