Date13/08/1971DescriptionComalco is to make a major addition to its production facilities at its Yennora semi-fabrication plant, Sydney.
The main new item to be installed will be a high speed cold rolling mill. Operating at 3300 feet a minute, the mill will be the fastest in the Australian aluminium industry.
The mill should be operating early in 1973.
It will be situated on a newly purchased area (enclosed by the dotted line) of 20.5 acres at Yennora, opposite Comaldo's existing 47 acre site. which was previously use as the existing factory site for Ediswan - Ekco.NotesROGERS-www.johnrogersarchice.com
