HPC000070a shows George's sons Fred, Victor and Cecil in the vineyard to the left, George, his wife Elizabeth and their youngest son, George, are in the carriage. The three daughters are (left to right) Myrtle, Thelma, and Mabel. A further photograph shows some vines in the background with buildings and a horse in the foreground. NotesGeorge Stimson is the third eldest son of Walter Stimson of Cambridge House, Fairfield. He owned a vineyard along the banks of Orphan School Creek. He was prominent in community affairs during the formative years of the Municipality of Cabramatta and Canley Vale and also served as mayor of the Municipality for a number of years. He lived at 'Lochiel' on Clifford Street at Canley Vale which later became the Lochiel Private Hospital.
