Fairfield Council replaced the wooden bridge with a prepressed concrete bridge.NotesThe wooden bridge is located in Sackville Street and crosses over the Orphan School Creek and had become a source of public complaints in 1962 when residents signed a petition to reduce the noise that was generated from the wooden decking on the bridge.
