Provenance and SignificanceMadge was Noel Horsfall's wife and a beloved teacher at Fairfield Public School. They lived near the school on Anthony Street until Marge's sudden death in 1950.

Noel Horsfall was a local builder, as well as a keen photographer and took up painting as a hobby in the 1960s.
