"Schools were organised differently in 1960 so when I began my teaching career there, Cynthia was known as the Infants’ Mistress. She was my most kind and helpful mentor for 3 years. Because of her care and skill, I went on to have a very satisfying and varied teaching career. I would not have lasted a year without the knowledge and wisdom of “Miss Suters”. She was supportive, enthusiastic and kept up with all the latest developments in education.
